Revenge, horror, dysfunctional thriller. Good movie for the young tech horror junkies. Shows the dysfunctional side of social media combined with youth and peer pressure. Makes the older viewers glad they grew up with the plain ‘ol butt kicking without the electronics. Good movie, but keep an open mind with the blinging bit of it, looks like Vegas for brats.

A Truly Horrid, not Horror Film. Save your money.

The storyline follows a group of rich and not rich, and obnoxious, spoiled 12 years old girls who are having a party at their friend's expensive home. There is a murderous slasher killing people, who everyone is oblivious to until half way through the film. The acting ability of the girls is commendable. But, the ridiculous script calls for their characters to be totally inconsistent. Each of the girls is mean toward the others, than they are supportive, then they turn on each other, and then back to supportive. Very inconsistent. It's hard to believe that Sophia would have invited the psychotic girl, "Cat," to her party, considering that Cat is very cruel to all of them (including the pointing of a "fake" or maybe not "fake" gun at each of them) while at the same time acting like a victim. In any believable world Sophia would have kicked Cat out of her house party immediately.
Absolutely unbelievable nonsense. I purchased this movie based on some of the favorable reviews I read. But, as soon as the full screen "video game" graphics and superimposed graphics started showing up inexplicably out of nowhere and filling the screen, I was thinking what is this BS? And the ridiculous mixing of video game graphic with messaging graphics that randomly and periodically took over the screen, again for no apparent rhyme or reason, was frustratingly annoying. This is not messaging on someone's cell phone, it is graphics superimposed over the entire viewing screen of your TV set (as if the audience is playing a video game on their home computers mixed up with instagram messaging), with no explanation.
The characters are so ridiculous and unbelievable. I like Timothy Hutton and Chloe Sevigny because they are generally excellent actors. But, they couldn't save this film because their characters were so obnoxious and their lines were nonsensical tripe. I was really surprised that Timothy Hutton would have accepted the job after he read the script for this movie.
And, there are a ton of plot holes that destroy any credibility to back up the identity of the killer. Don't make the mistake I made in purchasing this throwaway. If I could I would have rated this thing -5 stars.

Total Cacophony

Total cacophony. Prepare to be completely confused. Imagine Roger Corman directing "You Can't Do That On Television", but without the slime.
