This is a great drama, several people I know really got into this show and even more through word of mouth. Make sure you start from the 1st season and watch in order as there is a lot of sub stories to follow that carry through the seasons. This is the kind of show that has you biting your nails and talking about it afterwards.
The whole series was filmed to reveal the beauty of the coast of Cornwall. It was accurately set against the backdrop of late 18th C Britain. We see the workings of Parliament as well as the Cornish coastal tin and copper mines. The vast chasm between the privileged wealthy class and the poor working miners and fisherman. Added to the breadth of the saga, was romance and betrayal. In time we will revisit the whole series again.
