日本国内盤Blu-ray BOX：定価24,200円(税込)と比較すると脅威のコストパフォーマンス。
ブックレットやサントラCD、特典映像などは不要、とにかく安さ・コンパクトさを追求するなら必要十分。

・国内メーカー製のBlu-rayプレーヤーで再生可能
・英語字幕はOFFにできる
・OP/EDのクレジットはすべて英語表記
・新品であっても紙スリーブケースには傷みあり（何かのシールも貼ってある）
・ディスク再生直後に流れる警告画面とCMは早送り・スキップ不可

今回初めて輸入版のBDを購入しておりましたが画像も綺麗なで申し分なく字幕もしっかりと消せます。

不安材料の一つであった日本国内プレイヤーも問題なく再生できました。

デッキはパナソニックBDレコーダーで問題なく再生できました。

他のBDレコーダーが再生できるかはわかりません。

今更、ここで作品内容を論ずるのはナンセンスなので仕様に関するレビューをします。
なお、ソニーUHDブルーレイプレーヤー/UBP-X800での再生環境によるものです。
おそらく日本版マスターと同一の物を使用していると思われるので、日本版同等の解像度（AVC 常時約25.0Mbps辺りを推移）で鑑賞出来ます。
この北米版の利点は日本版とは違い、２枚のディスクに全編詰め込まれているので、1ディスクに2～3話しか収録が無いばかりに利便性が恐ろしく悪い日本版とは違い、一気見に向いている所です。
日本版のブックレット等の価格を吊り上げる為だけに存在する様な無駄な特典物は無く、パッケージはシンプルではありますが、本編はオリジナルの日本語でも鑑賞出来るだけで無く、オプションのサブタイトルをオフにする事により英語字幕も消せますので、純粋に作品を繰り返し鑑賞したい方は、ただ高いだけで利便性の悪い日本版よりもこちらを御勧めします。

このアニメは好きだったので見つけた時は即買いしました。PS4で見ましたが字幕も消せたので最高です。スタッフロールは英語ですが、それは気にしません。

オムニバスというか短編連作として楽しむってな作品なのでそこから外れる方には全然楽しめないかと思います。ただ料理関係の日常切り取っただけのお話なので。自分はストーリー期待せずに軽く観れるので結構好きな作品です。最近の北米版は字幕強制多いなか、字幕も消して観れましたし値段もお手ごろですのでオススメ。

Restaurant between the worlds (Isekai Shokudo) began as a light novelseries written by Junpei Inuzuka. It was turned into an anime series which aired in 2017. I first saw this series on Crunchyroll where it was split into 24 short episodes.
This is a review of "Restaurant between the worlds" blu-ray set. The set consists of two discs. Disc one has episodes 1 - 9 whilst disc two has episodes 10 - 12. Each episode is split into two stories resulting in 24 stories in all. It comes with an English and Japanese soundtrack. The subtitles are well done. The Japanese voice acting is good. I never listen to the English voice version so I can't comment on that. The opening and closing themes are okay but nothing special.
The Plot - Western Restaurant Nekoya is a small restaurant in Tokyo. It has a secret though. Every Saturday its doors open up into a different world. These doors let a variety of characters through. An admiral, a mage, a Knight, a demon-girl and many others. Each diner has a favourite dish which they describe and defend with passion. The restaurant is in the territory of a red dragon and there is asub-plot describing how the restaurant came to be. This is incomplete in the anime series but it doesn't spoil the story that it tells. Food bringing people together. This is a universal and feel good story which is well done in this isekai anime.
Summary - This is a feel-good anime about friendships and the commonality and joy of food. Highly recommended.
Try this - Isekai Isakaya, Food Wars Series 1, Flying Witch, Seitokou Yakuin Dono (SYD), My roommate is a cat.

Yessssss! This is exactly what I needed. Restaurant to another world is quite the hidden gem of anime which I am sure will bring a smile and joy to most who watch it. The animation is at times a bit lacking but the food, accompanied by the music and characters' descriptions of it is so enjoyable that it pretty much outshines that lacking and I have had to watch this show several times already(arguably some of the lacking of animation also suits this show). The anime centers around a restaurant in another world (for the characters that visits it) and for every new character introduced, we get a little bit of backstory to them and their world as well as some story that takes longer to wrap up than just an episode. I actually like that they kept most of the stories short like this, making each episode enjoyable in its own way and with its own story.

The characters' reactions together with the music is nice and sometimes quite funny and im still smiling after watching it 4 times. Its a nice break from the usual animes and or isekai. Sadly it only has 12 episodes and if there's one thing I wish for, it would be for another season to get greenlit someday in the future.

Restaurant to a guaranteed smile and drooling everywhere - I'll definitely recommend this one to y'all

I really enjoy food anime because of the new ideas I get for cooking in real life. Likeable characters, wonderful dishes, and upbeat, attractive music. It's all about the food, but you get a nice look into each character's backstory. Like telling a friend about a memory over a great meal. What could be better? If you're an anime-head like me, add this to your collection.

i always enjoy this anime because of the reactions the customer's and food. even thought we eaten their food before we can't laugh that them because we also had similar looks on are face when we eat some new. if you want to watch a lay back lack of story driven but enjoy the ride this anime is for you
