Revenge, murder, bloodshed, and retribution, the Slayer Repentless Killogy is a perfectly packaged story reflecting these values that most look down upon. This is the story of Wyatt who used to run with the wrong crowd. Wyatt is a former Neo Nazi associated with a gang known as “The Hand Brotherhood” whose signature mark is a bloody handprint left after a murder had taken place. Wyatt left his gang after he fell in love with Gina, a woman who saved his life after a brush with death from those who wanted revenge on him and his gang. Wyatt and Gina go into hiding to start a family and escape his tarnished past. The Hand Brotherhood are not going to let this happen. The Repentless Killogy Short Film is the combination of music videos from Slayer’s last full-length release “Repentless”, threaded through a film narrative that ends with Slayer performing a sold-out show at Los Angeles’ iconic Forum. The 2-cd & vinyl formats “The Repentless Killogy (Live at The Forum in Inglewood, CA)” contain the entirety of the concert, consisting of 21 tracks

Interesante historia del inicio previa al concierto. Todo muy Slayer.
Ya metidos en el show, espectaculares imagenes, llamas, luces.... Buen setlist y buen recuerdo.
No es el viejo Slayer de Hanneman y Lombardo, pero muy disfrutable

I got the pleasure of seeing this in the theaters last week and loved it. Came home and pre-ordered it, it arrived today.
The video, The Repentless Killogy, is all three song videos put together, it is brutal and bleak with over the top gore. The fx and acting are good, Bill Moseley, Danny Trejo, Caroline Williams and many more appear. My only small complaint is the digital blood. Besides that, it is really good.
The pro shot concert footage from the Inglewood Forum is the real star here though. Professionally shot with multiple cameras and edited perfectly, it captures a band at their peak. Slayer has NEVER compromised or sold out their fans or vision and their power is in full force here.
A 21 song set highlighting their best songs is unbelievable. Tom Araya sounds great, Kerry King is in top form. Gary Holtz was the perfect replacement for the irreplaceable Jeff Hanneman, he shreds. It seems Paul Bostaph never gets proper recognition after stepping in for Dave Lombardo on drums, hopefully this will change that as he is a BEAST on the kit.
Highly recommended for all SLAYER fans and fans of extreme metal, these guys invented it!!

Kurz und bündig: Habe mir den Konzertteil schon im Kino angeschaut, was natürlich eine geniale Aktion war!
Mattenschwinger/Kuttenträger mit Popcorn und Cola, aber ein paar Bier hatten auch einige dabei.
Wirkte manchmal etwas skurril, zu dem Programm im Kinosessel zu sitzen - aber entspanntes Zuschauen darf ja auch mal sein. An vielen Stellen Konzertatmosphäre bei bestimmten Szenen/Einstellungen.
Was manchmal etwas nervig ist, sind die absolut schnellen Szenen-Schnitte. Natürlich soll jedes Bandmitglied dabei sein, aber hier wäre manchmal weniger einfach mehr.
Ansonsten ist das Teil natürlich ein würdiges Abschiedsgeschenk an die Fans und beschließt eine denkwürdige Ära,
an der sich noch einige Zeit viele Bands in diesem Genre messen lassen müssen.
Das Original wird wohl nie zu toppen sein, dafür war Slayer eben einfach zu einzigartig und unverwechselbar.
Schön auch, dass wir nicht völlig entmündigt werden und die BlueRay trotzdem noch bekommen können.
Notfalls via Polen oder England.
In jedem prall gefüllten dvd-Regal von MediaMarkt/Saturn was weiss ich was steht alles voll mit Horror/Splatter/Trash,von mir aus FSK 18+, und hier wurde betr. FSK "Kindergarten / große Gruppe" veranstaltet.
